Gossip Girl Gets Three Noms at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards

Repping the Upper East Side was Kelly Rutherford (Lily van der Humphrey). And wow, like TV mother, like daughter. Kelly dared to bare her lady lumps in a plunging gown dripping with sparkle and shine. Is it just us or did Kelly look like a trophy herself?

About half way through the show, Cobra Starship treated the crowd to a performance of “Good Girls Go Bad” sans Leighton (replaced by Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger). (Wonder why L didn’t perform when she’s been working up such a media storm for her album?) But it’s not all bad; Leighton did receive a nom tonight for her collaboration on the pop hit.

Fellow co-star Blake Lively got some love, too. She was up against Anna Paquin, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katherine Heigl and Mariska Hargitay for TV Drama Actress. Katie Heigl took it home. Dang.

And the big moment of the night: Gossip Girl was nominated along with Dexter, The Hills, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and True Blood for Fave TV Obsession. And the award goes to…wait for it, wait for it…not Gossip Girl. Bummer. True Blood stole the accolade, but that’s okay. GG, you’ll always be number one in our eyes. Heart you.
