Sad news today for the Osmond family, Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son Michael Blosil committed suicide this morning by jumping from his apartment building in Los Angeles leaving behind a note. Michael was Marie’s son from her marriage with Brian Blosil which ended in 2007 after 21 years of marriage. Michael had a lifetime battle with depression. Marie said through her publicist "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time"
Donny Osmond, his uncle, said on Saturday morning: "Please pray for my sister and her family." Tonight’s "Donny & Marie" show at the Flamingo hotel in Las Vegas has been cancelled.
