Music About Marijuana Linked To Marijuana Use Amonst Teens!

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has determined that teens who listen to music with many references to marijuana and other ‘recreational’ drugs are more than twice as likely to use marijuana themselves according to survey data.  

Does the dope-lyric laden music cause the drug use amongst teens or do teens with a predilection for using dope choose this music?   Well our guess is that like with most statistical correlations it is a bit of both – drug users like music containing references to drugs and references to drugs remind people to get high!
