Tin Tin’s personal journey started when he analyzed himself in both mind and body. He was disgusted with his current condition and facing possible severe health risks, Tin Tin Puulei, realized he must change to regain and prolong his life. In doing so, he agrees to be the inspiration to the masses that also face a similar problem; the problem of obesity and how it affects our life. A native of Hawaii, 35 year old, Tin Tin Puulei is an icon to the people of his town and an influential man on the island of Kauai. Tin’s health, however, along with the quality of his life has greatly dwindled; turning him to a man he doesn’t recognize.
Tin Tin is local man who loved to surf and revered by his town as a local pro. He reached a weight exceeding 360lbs; the weight kept him beach side allowing him to watch others enjoy the sport that defines his spirit. He’s been big all his life; he’s struggled with: food, alcohol, nicotine, and drug abuse but now things had to change. A challenge that would not be easy, but Tin Tin was all too ready to face it head on, fearless in his endeavor.
Upon doing some research to solve his problem, Tin Tin came upon Planet Nice, a revolutionary new form of self-help co founded by Penny Dinn and Eric Nies. Tin Tin’s journey will be documented in the movie "TIN," coming soon to DVD for world wide distribution. Executive producer John Edmonds Kozma of Bang Productions will guide viewers as they watch Tin Tin, his family, and Hawaii, learn how to utilize natural resources to eat as close to nature as possible.
Viewers will witness a full life transformation–body, mind, and soul—as Tin discovers the path to a fulfilling, healthy, and vibrant life as he is seen breaking old, bad addictions, and replacing them with new, good intentions. For 180 days, Planet Nice Penny Dinn and Eric Nies will lead Tin Tin along his journey utilizing super foods, full body cleansing, meditation, prayer, exercise and the teachings of the Native American Indians.
The original vision for Planet Nice started with a journey by former male fashion model and television star, Eric Nies. Nies himself went through a transformation of sorts after gaining notoriety as America’s original Reality TV star while a cast member of the original "Real World: New York." He went on to parlay his notoriety into hosting MTV’s dance series "THE GRIND" and a series of mega-successful workout tapes for Sony Entertainment.
Nies craved more than just fame and fortune; he still desired inner peace and wanted to better understand his fellow human beings. That desire led Eric Nies on a quest inside the body, the mind, and the spirit. Traveling the globe in search of a universal truth; Nies studied with the masters of ancient disciplines and began his own healing process. He emerged with a stronger desire to help others with an intense focus on the ever growing issues of obesity and addiction.
When Tin Tin found out about the work that Planet Nice was doing, he told co-founders, Penny Dinn and Eric Nies, that he wanted a life change but needed help to do it. This method was exactly how he envisioned his transformation back to the man he wants to be. His goal is to be healthy, losing 230 pounds and get back on his board grinding Hawaii’s famous curls.
Last month, Tin Tin began a full body detoxification utilizing the Planet Nice transformational program. Tin Tin is currently on day #35 and still going on all liquids and super foods in this difficult journey. See his progress documented in the webisodes at http://iloveplanetnice.org
40 to most is just a number, but to Tin Tin, it’s a viable number and an accomplishment. Tin Tin lost 40 pounds thus far, and can’t be happier. He’s 190 pounds away from his goal and being able to say “Aloha” to his board again! "Planet Nice is about saving the day," claimed John Edmonds Kozma. "Everyone has problems. Planet Nice is doing something about those problems."
