Professional wrestler, Francisco Ciatso, also known as “Uptown” Frankie Capone, will be debuting in the Dominican Republic at an upcoming event for Dominican Wrestling Entertainment this Friday Night. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ciatso formerly held the AWA World 1 Southern Tag Team title along with his partner, “Big” Pete Cannon.
Ciatso dream was to be a professional wrestler, traveling the world, wrestling on the same events as legends, and he is currently living his dream one day at a time. “Listen, I have been there setting up the ring, I have climbed the ladder of earning the respect that we all want in this business we love called Professional Wrestling. Now I am getting my chance in the Dominican Republic and one country at a time I will earn respect from the World.” stated Ciatso.
From a young man traveling the circuit in Florida working from the World Famous Tampa Sportatorium to tryouts with WWE and WCW to an established veteran that has just hit his prime. Little known fact that Ciatso worked for NWA TNA (at the time) traveling between Nashville and Orlando during it’s onset. He also had a chance to work closely with WWE Developmental in Deep South Wrestling under the tutelage of Bill DeMott.
Ciatso had a number of classic matches through 2009 and on into 2010 with such stars as King Kong Fu and Prince Iaukea that had the NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion fans at the edge of their seats. This year, Ciatso was involved in a bitter feud with Big Vito after Vito taunted him about being a disgrace to New York Italians. The two men battled all across the Sunshine State in matches sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance.
Whether you love him or hate him or love to hate him. He deserves immense respect. Ciatso is ready, he is primed and he warns the fans that DWE is about to feel his impact. “Francisco Ciatso is headed to the DWE. I am ready for any and all competition. The fans will witness firsthand the abilities of a world class wrestler or my name is not Francisco Ciatso!”
2010 has been an incredible year already for Ciatso and he has claimed that 2010 is not over yet, “I have a number of career changes that will be happening soon, you think you have seen everything, well the best is about to get better”. One thing for sure, whether you call him Francisco Ciatso or “Uptown” Frankie Capone, you also have to place the word professional in front of that.
