Soul Circus Cowboys, a country music band on fire, is receiving a surge of song entries from aspiring music writers. The lucky contest winner will have his or her song recorded in Nashville.
The idea for the contest came up after Soul Circus Cowboys was asked to record more songs in Nashville in the wake of great feedback to their single "Love’s Like A Rodeo."
To hear the song, click the link HERE. “Anyone who wants to enter their song in our contest needs to do so by May 28,” stated lead singer, Billy McKnight.
“Song writers are encouraged to submit both their music and lyrics,” continued McKnight. “We want to play the lyrics and music before we send the possible winning songs to Nashville for approval.”
Contest entry information and rules:
1) Email your song to: info@mediaproductions.tv and can be a MP3 or WAV
2) The subject line in your entry email must read: "Soul Circus Cowboy Contest" for consideration
3) Send both lyrics and music.
4) Deadline for entry is 12:00 Midnight on Friday May 28, 2010
5) Soul Circus Cowboys will submit the selected songs to their label, Lofton Creek Records, for production approval.
