Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny Cottle were popped for possession of controlled substances after they pulled a U-turn and authorities smelled pot emanating from their vehicle.
The duo were both arrested for possession after cops found some ecstasy in their vehicle and they got matching mug shots. TMZ reports that he won’t be charged in the drug bust, since he’s already been sentenced to prison. The arrest itself was a violation of his probation for gun charges.
Reportedly, authorities have hit a snag with the charges, because of an issue of probable cause.
Cops claimed they smelled marijuana but no pot was ever booked into evidence. And, we’re told …T.I. was pulled out of his $250,000 Maybach immediately after he made the illegal U-turn and prior to any registration check.
That doesn’t make any sense to throw him back in prison without being formally charged. I hope he fights the rap and gets turned loose again. That’s just madness.
