Last week on America’s Next Top Model Dominque, 23, from Houston, Texas went home. As advertised this week the models set the runway on fire. One model’s hopes is about to go up on fire.
This week starts with Alexandria bragging about her photo being up in the house. All the girls are bitching that she got top photo because she was unprofessional on the set. They don’t think she deserved the top photo and they all want her to go home.
Sara is depressed because she was in the bottom two. She whines that she does not look like the other girls. Alexandria is still bragging about the fact that she is a model and when she is finished with this competition even if she does not win she is going to New York City. Alexandria says it is all about being a super model.
They get Tyra mail which says “If you don’t watch your step your career will go up in flames” The girls learn they will be modelling the top designs by Geoffrey Mac who designs for Lady GaGa. They also learn that their hands will be on fire. The winner of the challenge will get two dresses from the Geoffrey Mac collection.
If they fall they tell them to clap their hands to put out the fire. The runway has fire on the left and right side and the girls are frightened.
First up is Alexandria although she looked rough on the edges she held her own. Brittani loves fire and felt like she was the Queen of Fire. All the girls do fine but Sara had a problem lighting herself on fire and her runway walk was not good. Kasia comes off a little too sexy and they want her to get out of the sexy mood. I think the best was Dayla she looked great. Mr. J felt the best girls were Alexandria and Brittani and Dayla and the winner of the challenge was Dayla. Three girls need so much practice Hannah, Sara and Kasia they had to walk home.
The girls get new Tyra mail which says “Tomorrow it is okay to cause a scene” The doorbell rings and they get another Tyra mail that says “make sure you know these lines by tomorrow.” They are doing a commercial for roasted coffee – Fierce Roast. Sara is not comfortable with the script because it is sexually suggestive and she is a feminist.
The girls arrive at Smashbox studio and Jay Manuel is there. The photographer and director is Francesco Carrozzini. The girls go to hair and makeup. The girls are getting their bras stuffed and fake booty because the shoot will be a 60’s Mad Men shoot.
Alexandria and Brittani are paired together, they tell Alexandria not to take it too far. Britanni is not doing well she is not comfortable. Alexandria was trying to help and was trying to do everyone’s job. Everyone was getting annoyed with her. Monique and Hannah are paired, the judges thought the girls were great, but Monique was a little reserved.
Kasia and Jaclyn are paired together, they really liked Kasia she looked great. The judges felt their performance was the best! Molly and Dalya are paired, they felt they worked sometime and at others not. Sara and Mikaela are paired, Sara was having a lot of problems; Jay said it was as sexy as watching paint dry. They felt Sara did not believe in it from the beginning. Sara found the whole thing difficult.
