Last time on America’s Next Top Model Alexandria, 21, from Newport Beach, California was sent home, four girls remain. Did you miss last week’s episode? CHECK IT OUT HERE. The pressure is on as the girls compete for a spot as one of the final two models; Ivan Bart of IMG Models is guest judge tonight and will be on the panel. The three remaining models struggle through a talk show correspondent challenge and receive an impromptu visit by Tyra that turns into a photo shoot.
The girls are happy that Alexandria went home because as they said she was a ‘drama bitch.‘ The girls are shocked that they are in the top three. The girls get back to the apartment and Molly’s picture is displayed. Molly feels she deserves to be in the final three more than the other two. She feels she understands life better than them. Hannah, however thinks that Molly is too often negative.
The girls get Tyra mail ‘Tomorrow you will know beauty inside out and you will know about love.’ Jay Manuel shows up at their house and he has a special news announcement from Hollywood. Lara Spencer from The Insider is giving them the scoop on their next challenge. Each girl has to report on a fashion trend in Morocco and it has to be 90 seconds. The winner of the challenge is going to have their piece appear on the insider.
Molly is doing black khol, Brittani is doing henna and Hannah is doing argan oil. The girls have to research the product and then find someone in the streets to interview.
They get back to the house and Jay is waiting for them to watch their videos. First up is Brittani her video is a little hit and miss. It seems like the people she is interviewing cannot understand her. Jay thought she did not use her expert.
Molly is very good – she seems very natural, I think she did a great job. At the end of the video she says ‘it was horrible’ on camera – not good. Other than that it was good.
Hannah is doing a great job. She has a bit of an issue with time. She did not let her experts explain. Hannah told us rather than ask her people.
Mr. Jay feels that Molly did the best job and she won the challenge. They get back to the apartment to relax and Tyra walks in. She is having a talk with them to find how they are doing. Tyra tells them she is going to photograph them. She is also going to do their makeup and hair. Tyra is teaching them about isolation because the best models in the world can do it so they have to learn.
They go to the roof and there are traditional Moroccan men dancing and playing music.
The girls get Tyra mail ‘Are you really committed? You will find out tomorrow!’ The girls arrive and they meet Mr. Jay and Nigel Barker. They are going to be styled wearing Moroccan wedding dresses and they would be working with male models. The girls get a chance to meet the male model and get to know him.
Molly, Nigel gives her advice don’t think whether you are going to sit or not all we want are emotions. Molly was not getting the message. There was no connection with her and the model, she was not emoting. She looked disconnected with the model. Guest judge Ivan feels her face was beautiful. They feel the camera loves her. The guest judge feels like she has to work on her energy.
Hannah, worked pretty well with the model but she lost her look and at times looked aggressive. She had a lot of chemistry with the model. They feel the picture is the best photo she has had this season. They feel that it looks like the shot is right from Italian Vogue. Guest judge Ivan loved the photo. Nigel feels Hannah is adorable. The judges are not sure she is strong enough for the model business.
Britanni, she had a little disdain with the male model and she was a little over confident. She started crying and it looked stunning but Nigel feels she cannot cry all the time to emote. One of the problems has is he feels you have to start with the emotion and then the story unfolds. Nigel feels Britanni is a difficult model to photo.
The two finalists will be walking in a fashion show for Vivienne Westwood.
