Rumor alert! Scarlett Johansson and Justin Bartha are the latest celebs to have found themselves in that OMG-are-they-REALLY-dating celeb romance rumor circle.
The New York Post reported that the pair was spotted eating dinner (dinner *gasp* yep, definitely dating) together after Johansson watched Bartha in his Broadway play, “All New People.”
They were supposedly “completely engrossed in one another” as they dined at uber-classy restaurant Un Deux Trois. “They seemed pretty fascinated with each other and only talked to each other… It looked sometimes flirty, but also they seemed to be involved in a deep discussion.” Deep discussion? Regarding the Theory of Relativity perhaps . . . or, their next date and how to cunningly deceive the press/hide their relationship from the world?
And here’s where it all goes downhill . . . “The truth of the matter is they are just friends,” says a People Magazine source. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. We’ve all heard that one before. But, it’s probably the truth (maybe).
Celebs, when will you guys start getting the clue? If you haven’t figured it out by now, this is how it works: If you’re spotted having dinner together (and smiling at the same time), then we all think you’re dating/sleeping in the same bed/planning the wedding/molding a future together.
