After finding that Maria Shriver finally filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger, we’ve learned that the former couple would have hundreds of millions of dollars to split. Now, we’ve found that the former California Governor is ready to fork over a very generous settlement in their divorce. How kind of him! (Enter sarcasm here.)
Considering that there wasn’t a prenuptial agreement in place, the two would have to split their earnings for the past 25 years straight down the line, 50/50. But, we’re hearing that Arnie is feeling generous and is willing to give her more than what she’s due according to California law. As well he should, considering that he was banging the maid in their shared bed. That was a total douche move.
A source said, “Arnold realizes he is to blame for the collapse of his marriage. Maria was a loving wife and mother, and he doesn’t think that any amount of money can minimize what he has put her through. He wants to do the right thing, and go above and beyond what is required of him under the law. This is going to be a very amicable divorce, and it won’t be played out in the media. Neither one of them wants that. Arnold hasn’t lost his mind, he is going to be giving away his fortune to her. He wants to show his children that he is taking responsibility for his actions.”
Good for her. He really put her through a lot, so she deserves whatever she can get in that deal. Don’t you think?
