Apparently, Star Magazine wants us to believe th at Ashlee Simpson is guzzling wine like crazy and is turning into an alcoholic, following her split from former husband, Pete Wentz.
They would have probably done better to try and sell the story that Pete’s all broken up, because she’s already smooching all over some new guy.
The tabloid is claiming that Jessica Simpson has already staged an intervention for Ashlee, because she’s been drinking herself crazy. A source said, “Ashlee is downing eight to ten bottles of wine a week. Jessica is on a mission to save Ashlee from self-destructing, and she told her to funnel her angst into songwriting.”
Another insider said, “Jessica has also been writing with Ashlee, but refuses to take any professional songwriting credit. The biggest reward for Jess will be seeing her baby sister bounce back.”
Seeing as how she was recently snapped with her tongue down some other dude’s throat, we’re going to fathom a guess that Star magazine is just full of crap. Thanks for playing along, though.
