Toronto has been a hot spot for many celebs as of late, including Canada’s own 26-year old singer, Avril Lavigne. The Napanee native was in town as of Friday, June 17 – walking arm in arm with her boyfriend Brody Jenner, and seen frequenting the popular Avenue Bar, located within the trendy Yorkville area. Brody, 27, tagged along with Avril who is in town for the 2011 Much Music Awards, where she will be performing. Let’s not forget she is also nominated in two categories: International Video of the Year by a Canadian and UR Fav Artist.
Avril has been sending several tweets throughout the day, including this one she wrote on Twitter:
“So happy to be in her homeland! I love coming home and seeing my family…Makes me so happy! So important to stay true to your roots. Be sure to tune into the 2011 Much Music Awards today at 9pm EST on Fuse.”
So I’m stoked to watch it tonight, especially if one Mr. Handsome Jenner is in town…oh, and good luck Avril :)
