David Arquette says that Courteney Cox ‘broke down in tears’ when he told her that reconciliation between them was no longer possible since he was in love with Christina McLarty. David confirmed to Howard Stern that his marriage to Courteney is definitely over.
The former couple – who have seven-year-old daughter Coco together – announced in October 2010 they were taking a trial separation from their 11-year marriage but now David that has found love with reporter Christina, he is adamant he will not be reuniting with his estranged wife.
Howard Stern asked him: “If Courtney said to you, ‘David, I made a mistake I want to work on our marriage. I want you moving back into the house, I want you to break up with that girl. I know we have to do this for our daughter.’ Would you consider it?”
David replied: “Uh, I mean, no.”
David revealed both he and Courteney broke down when he told her about his new relationship.
Asked by Howard how she responded when he told her he was in love with Christina, he said: “She was sad, we were both sad. We both cried.”
Sounds to us like its all over BUT the crying between David and Courteney, and it’s Courteney was will be doing most of the crying… .
