Enjoy Hope Solo’s Paso Doble & Argentine Tango Performance Videos. On tonight’s ninth episode and the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars couples will have to impress the audiences with three routines. The competition is nothing short of intense tonight, with everyone wanting to get into the finals. If you missed tonight’s show you can read our official recap here! The couples first performance is an Argentine Tango, their second dance is either a Paso Doble or Samba — one of which is a style dance they have not yet performed. The third dance will be the Cha Cha relay, in which all couples will dance to the same song.
The dances Hope Solo and professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy will be performing are the Paso Doble to Can’t be Tamed by Miley Cyrus, Argentine Tango to Whatever Lola Wants by Gotan Project and Cha-Cha. Maks said about performing three dances, “At this stage of the game, we’re all exhausted. This is when our bodies start shutting down and we get sick, so to have three dances, it’s very, very tough. I know they want more content because they want a longer broadcast, but this is the last thing any of us needs. You would have a better show if it was shorter with few dances. It’s about quality, not quantity, right?”

Hope Solo’s Paso Doble – Judges comments: Len said: I think it amazing to do 3 dances in one week, well done for that. What I liked about that dance is it had attitude but lost finesse. Bruno said: you were unchained and because of that you lost a bit of control. Carrie Ann said: you nailed the character of the dance I thought the holds were a little out of sync.

Hope Solo’s Argentine Tango – Judges comments – Len said: Far better than the Paso Doble, it was clean. Well Done! Bruno said: Much better, you were sexy, you did not look like you were going to kill him, much better. Carrie Ann said: There was definitely fluidity and you were working together. I feel like some of the grace into the lifts was not there. But I give you points for ambition.
