IRS Investigates Jennifer Lopez For Falsifying Payments To Ojani Noa

Not only are Ojani Noa and his girlfriend, Claudia Vazquez, suing Jennifer Lopez over the rights to his home movies but now the IRS had some questions for the star.

It seems that the IRS discovered that Ojani appears to have recieved only 1/2 of the payments that JLo claims to have given him on her tax return.   The payments from J.Lo to Noa stem from a deal reached after he sued her for firing him as manager of her restaurant Madre in 2002.

Noa’s representative Ed Meyer says “The IRS told Noa that the 1099 form JLo submitted to them was almost double what he put down that she paid him,” but Meyer insists that Noa says he reported his income correctly.

“The IRS called Ojani and asked for documents about how J.Lo paid him for the Madre deal,” says Meyer, and he added “They wanted a copy of the Madre settlement agreement and any information about Jennifer sending him a 1099.”
Was possible that Noa under reported his income from J.Lo?  Meyer says that Noa denies that.  One thing we know – either JLo or Noa are lying – of course they could both be lying!
