Kelly Osbourne was accused today by a Twitter user of not doing enough for Amy Winehouse to save her from her drug addiction. The user replied to a tweet Kelly tweeted today: “I can’t even breath right my now. I’m crying so hard. I just lost one of my best friends. I love you forever Amy and will never forget the real you!” and implied Kelly did not do enough!
Kelly became furious and tweeted the following response:@normapon are you fucking kidding me you have NO idea what you are talking about! it would be in your best interest to shut the fuck up!
One hour after the tweet she signed off twitter with the following tweet: “i miss my friend! im going to be off twitter for a while thank you for all your support! #pray4amy“
I feel bad for Kelly, Amy was her friend and if Amy did not want to be helped there was nothing much Kelly or anyone else could have done Amy had just completed another stint in rehab in May 2011, but clearly Amy could not fight her demons off. The person who tweeted the comment was insensitive and clueless!
Police in London have confirmed the death of Amy Winehouse. They released the following statement: “Next of kin have been informed, and I can confirm that officers are now satisfied that the deceased is Amy Winehouse.” However, they will not confirm that the cause of death is a drug overdose. The post-mortem examination has not taken place and they do not want to speculate as to the cause of death.
