Lady GaGa makes an in-store appearance at Best Buy to promote her new album “Born This Way” in New York City, May 23rd, 2011. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga fans crashed Amazon yesterday when her album went on sale for just .99 cents. Amazon bosses decided to cash in on GaGa’s huge following by offering the album download for just $0.99 when it was released on Monday.
So many people flocked to by the album the site got slow and it was difficult to get on. The website just could not meet the huge demand on it it did not know the power of GaGa’s little monsters. Amazon posted the following message, “Amazon is experiencing high volume and downloads are delayed. If customers order today, they will get the full Lady Gaga, Born This Way album for $0.99. Thanks for your patience.”
