According to a source close to Lindsay Lohan, her confidence is starting to wane and she is finally getting it through her head that jail time is going to be a reality for her. Therefore she is now “seriously considering” taking a plea deal as time quickly evaporates before she must decide whether to go to trial or not.
Judge Keith Schwartz offered Lindsay a deal through her attorney Shawn Holley that includes a three month term in jail probably winds up being only 19 days due to jail overcrowding.
Lindsay has been adamant for weeks that she would never take a plea deal because she feels she did nothing wrong. Sources close to Lindsay tell us she still maintains her innocence but that reality is starting to sink in and Lindsay is beginning to understand the risks of going forward with a trial.
If she loses at trial, she could get more than a year in jail for the probation violation and this on top of prison time for the felony grand theft of the necklace.
If Lindsay accepts the deal then Holley must tell the judge on Wednesday. Lindsay will be back in court Friday to either take a plea or declare that she is going to fight all the way and go to trial.
