Lindsay Lohan had struck a deal with former Betty Ford worker Dawn Holland to have some paparazzi shots taken of the two of them together, so that Dawn could have the photo agency money. All of that, in exchange for Dawn dropping her battery case against the actress.
I imagine this was a way for Lindsay to have it not look as if she were trying to buy Dawn’s hand in dropping her case against Lindsay. TMZ has more:
The plan — hatched BEFORE Dawn decided not to pursue criminal charges against Lindsay — was that Dawn would make $10,000 from the sale of the photos.
Sources connected with the deal tell us the point was not for Dawn to get money in exchange for dropping her case — but rather for Lindsay to “help her out.”
Sources say the deal fell apart when Lindsay’s business manager, Lou Taylor, put the kibosh on the plan.
Dawn was pissed, felt Lindsay was “disrespecting” her, got a new lawyer and may pursue the battery case.
So Lindsay wanted Dawn to have $10,000 to keep her out of jail? I think it would’ve been worth more than that to her, don’t you? I bet the D.A. is going to eat this one up!
