Lindsay Lohan‘s nude Playboy shoot was inspired by Marilyn Monroe – or at least inspired by Hugh Hefner’s obviously faulty memory of Monroe. Hef told ‘The Insider’: “It’s a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy.”
Hefner must be nuts to think that having naked pics of Lindsay Lohan pays homage to anything – other than bad taste.
Lindsay was released from jail yesterday after serving just four-and-a half hours of a 30-day sentence – has posed naked for the iconic men’s magazine and its founder Hugh Hefner says it pays homage to her idol – who died in August 1962 aged 36 from a suspected drugs overdose.
Hugh also confirmed Lindsay, 25, bared all for the shoot but it was done in a “classy” way. He said: “Oh, yes, she’s naked. And classy, very classy.” The man is obviously demented.
Lindsay was paid almost $1 million to get undressed for the publication, but she is due to re-shoot some photos later this week.
Lindsay was initially offered $750,000 by Playboy, but turned it down until she was given a higher price. What’s the old joke: we are not asking if you are a whore – we are only negotiating price?
