I don’t know about you guys but I sense a little bitterness and tension with among the Twilight cast! And it’s coming from none other than Nikki Reed, who graces the December/January 2011 cover of Seventeen magazine.
We all remember back in the day that they (the Twilight cast) were all buds and super chummy – and I’ve often wondered why over the last few films that we never saw the cast together (particularly the girls, Kristen Stewart and Nikki who were meant to be “best friends”), not to mention why hardly any of the cast were invited to Nikki’s wedding this summer to American Idol contestant Paul McDonald.
Here’s what the actress had to say, and it doesn’t sound pretty. How I would love to know all the dirty juice that went on among these friends:
“In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family – it was like being sleepaway camp. And then success comes along and changes the dynamic. We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.”
Do I sense a little bitterness? Yikes! Nikki also went on to discuss her controversial role in her ‘break out’ movie, Thirteen:
“I got typecast as a party girl when Thirteen first came out. The funny thing was, I was a virgin, I didn’t do drugs and I barely drank.”
I think I’m going to have read the full article – it sounds pretty saucy! The magazine comes out November 22nd.
