Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn divorcing her hubby…seriously, who will be next?? Wowzers! This year is certainly making itself known (particularly in the last few months) as “Hollywood’s Epic Year Of Divorces”. I’m just saying – who be next?? I won’t spout out all the recent celebs to get on the D-train, but I will tell you who’s making headlines now.
So she doesn’t surpass or even meet the ranks of Demi Moore or Kim Kardashian, but Olympic gold medalist skier Lindsey Vonn is (unfortunately?) next on the list. She married hubby Thomas Vonn in 2007, and although she had much success prior to meeting him, he became her ‘rock’ of support. Nine years her senior, he helped coordinate interviews and was a key figure in guiding her towards her Olympic dream. Lindsey released this statement to the Denver Press:
“It is with great sadness that I announce that Thomas and I have begun divorce proceedings.”
Lindsey has also recently undergone some back injuries, so hopefully she can pull it together. Sorry to include you in my list girl, you can be greatness no matter who is by your side.
