Paz de la Huerta who stars in the role of Lucy Danziger on ‘Boardwalk Empire’ was just charged with assault for allegedly attacking “City” star Samantha Swetra at an NYC party last month.
Paz just appeared in criminal court in Manhattan where the D.A. filed 5 misdemeanor charges against her. These include two counts of 3rd degree assault, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault, and harassment.
The judge also granted a temporary restraining order against Paz which even prohibits Paz from contacting Samantha on Facebook.
Paz allegedly threw a drinking glass at Samantha and punched her in the face during a party at the Standard Hotel on March 22.
Paz might have a little drinking problem that affects her behaviour – at the Golden Globe Awards she was drunk, fell down, ripped her gown, and was denied entry to the after party!
Prosecutors told the judge Paz was busy trash talking Samantha during her time in the police station on the night of her arrest over the incident saying, “I’m a REAL actress – HBO! She’s a publicity seeker, a FAKE actress.”
Paz is due back in court on May 19, 2011.
