Today everyone knows who Robert Pattinson is after his huge success in The Twilight Saga movies and now Water for Elephants. However, that was not always the case for poor Robert – pre Twilight there were no Twihards around. When Robert first came over from the UK he would name drop and say he knew Prince William to make connections.
Robert appeared on the BBC’s ‘The Graham Norton Show’ last week and revealed the royal trick he used when he was just starting out in Los Angeles.
“When I first came to L.A., it was very easy to convince people I was a member of the royal family. I hadn’t worked for three years — I was unemployed in London — and when people asked what I’d been doing, I told people I went to RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] with Prince William,” Pattinson said.
LOL, I can just see how he would get away with that people would just think sure he is British he must know Prince Williams.
