Scarlett Johansson’s nude photos spread across the internet like wildfire on September 14th. Apparently, a nefarious hacker got into her iPhone and leaked the photos. Celebrity websites, us included, picked up on the pictures and posted them, because it’s news, right?
She hasn’t addressed the photo leak exactly, but she did open up to CNN in a new interview about her privacy. She called the whole situation “unjust” and said that she her privacy was invaded.
She said, “Just because you’re in the spotlight, or just because you’re an actor or making films or whatever, doesn’t mean that you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy. I think no matter what the context, if that is besieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong.”
She’s right, but we have to wonder when common sense is going to kick in and make celebrities stop taking racy naked photos like that — only to store them on unsecured devices? Whatever happened to Captain Obvious coming in and saying that you should change your password to these devices with some gobbledeegook like fkjbndfgn#dzkjds@23? No one would ever guess that mess in a million freakin’ years, right?
Hey, we didn’t hack her photos, so don’t blame us….but it did get us a spot on Access Hollywood, so there’s always that. And Joel McHale mentioned us on The Soup. Call me, Joel! Really, call me.
