Because waiting really does “SUCK”, we’re bringing you some True Blood related news. Sookie Stackhouse, to be precise. And I just had to use this picture, because it’s hot. Eric and Sookie…Hotness. Couldn’t you just get lost in his vampire yumminess?
I’m sorry, what were we talking about again? Oh yes, the books.
Like all good things, the Sookie books are coming to an end, according to author Charlaine Harris. This makes me sad. She brought Sookie and Eric into our lives, but they won’t be around much longer. Unfair. If I’m acting like a child about this, it’s because I haven’t had my True Blood fix in a while and I’m out for blood. Zing.
Charlaine said, “Truthfully, the next two books will probably be the last two books in the series. I still love Sookie, but I’m beginning to want to write something else, and Sookie’s kind of taken over my life. I was able to write other things for the first few years I was involved with Sookie, but then after the start of the television show she took over so much of my time because of my increased publicity obligations that it’s been very hard to write other things, and I really need to do that.”
Ugh. They better make Eric Northman live forever. Or at least give us some more screen caps of his butt to ogle…For research purposes, of course.
