It’s been an awesome season 12 of “The Biggest Loser” and tonight the champion and winner of the $250,000 grand prize will be announced. It’s a man’s world tonight, for the first time ever there are no women amongst the finalists. We all know the winner usually loses at least 50% of their weight. Will it be former NFL lineman Antone Dove who started his journey at 447 pounds, or John Rhode who started at 445 pounds or Ramon Medeiros who started at 355 pounds and won a finalist position by winning last week’s Biggest Loser marathon? Did you see last week’s episode? If you missed anything, you can read the full recap HERE.
I can’t wait to see all the dramatic weight losses from the final three and the “at home” contestants. Will the smallest of the three finalists win? Medeiros, like Dove and Rhode, has his eye on the prize, but maybe being the underdog might just give him the edge he needs to being this home.
Official Synopsis: In this must-see, exciting live finale, the contestants from this season return for a special reunion and a chance to weigh in one last time – and show America how much weight they’ve all lost since beginning their weight-loss journeys. Those who have been eliminated will compete for the $100,000 “at home” prize. Then It’s the moment the viewers have been waiting for, when one of the three finalists will be named this season’s “Biggest Loser” and win the coveted grand prize of $250,000! Alison Sweeney hosts the series, Anna Kounikova and Dolvett Quince also star.
Tonight, pop rock band Train will perform “The Biggest Loser” theme song, “Brand New Book”.
