When it comes to True Blood, I will remain true to my favorite actor on the show, Alexander Skarsgard. But there’s no doubting the fact that Joe Manganiello, who plays Alcide Herveaux on the show, is running a close second. And why??? Because he’s HOT!
Has he muscled himself into his own corner of hotness? He said, “Sometimes I think, ‘Man, maybe I raised the bar a little too high last year’. I’m also at the age where this is the time to do it. So if I’m going to do it, let’s see how far we can push it.”
Okay, let’s!
He plays Alcide on the show, who’s a werewolf. So naturally, he’s going to be naked a lot. Hey, it’s not our fault that werewolves don’t wear pants — or much of anything else.
When talking about getting naked, he said, “It’s definitely a lot. I was talking recently with my manager Coleen, and we calculated that in the first seven episodes that I’ve filmed for the new season, I was naked three out of the seven. So yeah, there’s a lot.”
Not that we mind one bit!
As good as he looks, Joe also wanted to clear up the “manscaping” comments that he made at the NewNowNext Awards. He said, “It was a complete joke! I was training with my trainer, and he’s like, ‘Dude, do you know about this manscaping thing? And then he explained the whole thing. I was like, ‘I’m going to talk about that at the awards.’ So I made it up. I actually don’t need one. I’m Sicilian and Armenian, so you would think I would, but I’m completely hairless. I don’t know how I won that roll of the dice.”
