Gavin DeGraw, the singer who was brutally attacked in NYC late Sunday night, has been ordered to take some time off by his doctor. The popular singer suffered a concussion, broken nose, several lacerations to the face, and a severe amount of bruising. While I’m sure his fans are anxious to see him back on tour, a little R&R never hurts anyone, especially after the Universe deals you a crazy-crazy-freak-never-saw-that-coming accident. We continue to wish him a smooth recovery.
As a result of his prescribed downtime, DeGraw will not perform at the following once-scheduled concerts:
Bethlehem, PA-August 14
Hersey, PA-August 15
Nashville, TN- August 17
Indianapolis, IN-August 18
Des Moines, IA-August 19
Chicago, IL-August 20
Clarkston, MI-August 21
Toronto, ON- August 22
Thankfully — if his recovery goes well — the singer will rejoin the Maroon 5 and Train tour in Baltimore on August 24th; Syracuse on the 25th; and Holmdel, New Jersey on the 26th.
Thanks to Cara Hutchison over at Rogers & Cowan for e-mailing us this morning with the update! You get a ginormous metaphorical gold star from me.
