Last night, the final two contestants, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez performed for the last time and at the end of the night, it was clear that Phillip had won the night with his single, “Home”. Did you watch the show? If you missed it, you can read the full recap HERE.
There is no doubt that Jessica is a great singer, but she is not an artist like Phillip. Not only does he perform, he writes his own songs and plays an instrument. Another difference between the two are that while Jessica copies other artists songs and mimics their facial expressions, Phillip makes every song his own and just acts naturally.
Jessica’s best performance last night was “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston, if you missed it, you can watch the video HERE. Her worst was her single, “Change Nothing”, video HERE; all of the judges didn’t like the song and felt that it was the wrong genre for her.
