Although details of the wedding were kept fairly quiet, the news is out that actress Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford tied the knot this Saturday. The 26-year-old and her Mumford & Sons front man exchanged their vows in a beautiful ceremony conducted by none other than the groom’s father, who happens to be a vicar.
The newlyweds, who have been engaged for a year, were joined by family and friends at the venue adorned with hay bales. The couple got married inside a barn at a Stream Farm in Bridgwater, Somerset in England. Carey, wore a full-length ivory plain backless dress with V-straps – and had 8 bridesmaids all wearing turquoise.
Some famous faces at the ceremony were Sienna Miller, Colin Firth, and Jake Gyllenhaal. It was also previously reported that Adele was asked to sing at the reception but that was a no-go. Now that would be what I call an amazing wedding!
