Last week was the premiere of Season 14 of Dancing With The Stars and as Judge Len Goodman said it was on of the best premieres they ever had. The celebrities and their professional partners danced either a Cha Cha Cha or a Foxtrot and Opera Star Katherine Jenkins and actor Jaleel White tied for first place with a 26/30 each. If you missed the episode you can catch our full recap here! If you missed the performances you can see all the performance videos here!
On this week’s episode the 12 couples return to the ballroom performing either the Jive or the Quickstep. Crowd favorite William Levy tweeted about his quickstep: “Quick step is getting better.. Thank God!!!!!!!! The only thing is that it leaves u with no energy. Imagine jumping around for 4 hrs ..”
A one-hour special, “Dancing with the Stars: The Story So Far,” will air Tuesday just before the result show and it will recap the thrilling dance performances from last week’s premiere and from Monday’s performance show, along with never-before-seen footage from the teams’ confessionals and exciting backstage moments.
Following the one-hour special, country superstars Sugarland and talented singer songwriter Matt Nathanson join in on the fun for the Season Premiere of “Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” on Tuesday March 27 at 9PM EST. Nathanson will perform his latest single, “Run,” featuring Sugarland in a special performance accompanied by pro dancers Tristan MacManus and Peta Murgatroyd. Sugarland will return to the stage for a second performance of infectious track “Find the Beat Again,” accompanied by four members of this season’s Troupe. Season 14’s Troupe returns with two new members, Henry Byalikov and Emma Slater. During Tuesday night’s show, the Troupe will be joined by the professional dancers of the season for an amazing performance, and by evening’s end the first couple will be sent home.
I cannot wait to see the show the jive is not an easy dance, actually both dances are rapid-fire dances. I am rooting for Jaleel White, do you have any favorites? Sound out in the comments below and let me know what you think!
