Fashion Star premiered last week on NBC. Designers competed to get a chance to launch their own collection and become the next big fashion brand. Stores Macy’s, H&M and Saks Fifth Avenue decided which collections they wanted to buy. Fashion Star returns tonight with a second episode and the drama heats up in the showroom. On last week’s show menswear designer Nicholas Bowes was eliminated. Nicholas a 38-year-old Australian and former male model who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, presented three motorcycle jacket which both Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson thought was dated. Nicholas did not agree with their opinions and he let them know. He basically told them they did not know what they were talking about. What do you think, did you like Nicholas’ jackets? From the preview below it looks like Oscar Fierro is starting to get on everyone’s nerves and causes some drama in the showroom. Nicole liked him last week but she did not like his designs – he needs to step it up this week if he wants to stay. It also looks like this week the stores battle it out over one designers designs. Lisa Van Hunter is first, Jessica loved the design, she was happy that Lisa decided to go with the hot pink. Lisa debuts the Trudy Day Dress. Kara Lariicks debuts the Draped Tie Dress. Ronie Escavalnte is next and I have no idea what he was thinking tonight. Ronnie debuts the Blouse With Zipper Detail.
Lisa – Macy’s offers $50,000
Kara – H&M and Saks get into a bidding war, they start at $50,000 and Saks wins it with a bid of $110,000.

Orly Shani thinks Oscar is obnoxious and annoying. Orly debuts the Convertible Maxi Dress. I loved this one, best fashion so far.Ross Bennett gets feedback that his fabric is a little heavy, but he is going to stay true to himself. Ross debuts the Tailored Bolero Jacket. Oscar Fierro thinks Orly makes his life miserable and he is not going to “let some stupid bartendar” send him home and if he doesn’t sell this week, he is going to have a nervous breakdown. Oscar debuts the Cape Dress.
Nicole loved Ross’s design. Jessica loved Orly’s designs, she found it innovative. Jessica was not over the moon about Oscar’s designs tonight, but she did have a dream that she gave birth to him. John calls Oscar’s designs “hoochie”.

Lizzie Parker doesn’t want to scare a buyer, but she wants to stay true to her brand. Lizzie debuts a blouse with Bat Sleaves. Barbara Bates is hoping fior the best tonight. Barbara debuts a Leather Tunic. Sarah Parrott has problems with her design and Jessica is a little worried that she is running out of time. Sarah completely changes her design at the last minute. Sarah debuts Tuxedo Pants. Jessica loved her design, but would have liked better color choices. John felt that Barbara really stepped up her game. Nicole loved the pants, but would not have gone with two blues.

Nine designers have failed to sell their designers tonight, it is anyone’s guess on who will be going home tonight. Oscar, Lizzie and Ross are called on stage. It’s time for the mentors to save one designer from elimination, the person they want to save is Ross.
