We all already know that Ian Somerhalder is in the running for the role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the smokin hot book, Fifty Shades of Grey and fans of the actor are crossing their fingers tightly, hoping that he snags the role. Ian already seemed to have the leading edge and the other day he upped the ante, proving that he sure can play a character as aloof and in control as Mr. Grey.
A teaser for Ian’s latest project, a series of six short films called Time Framed, was leaked and it has Ian channeling his inner bad boy as he plays the part of a secret agent. Truly, this looks like a screen test for the Fifty Shades role, but the whole world gets to see it! This means that the clamor for Ian to be cast is only going to get a whole lot louder because we’ve been given a glimpse of what he could do with the edgy character and man is he hot!
After working hard all year Ian is currently smack in the middle of the mountains with his love, Nina Dobrev, enjoying a holiday trip with her family. The gorgeous couple seems to be doing really well together and have found their groove, both working on the set of Vampire Diaries and playing together. You know Nina thinks Ian would make a smokin hot Christian Grey, especially after seeing his latest work!
Will Ian ultimately score one of Hollywood’s most coveted roles?
