Jerry Lawler: WWE Commentator Collapses, Has Heart Attack! VIDEO

For those of you who haven’t heard Jerry Lawler, WWE commentator, suffered a heart attack on Monday during a LIVE broadcast of WWE’s Monday Night Raw in Montreal and it wasn’t just an entertainment ploy! This was some realness and we’ve got the video to show what all went down ringside. And it was scary as all get out.

In the footage you can see medical techs surrounding Lawler who immediately performed CPR on him. After they seemed to get a response, several men carried the announcer slash wrestler from ringside to a stretcher and then proceeded to take him backstage out of the public’s sight.

Even though much of WWE is for entertainment purposes, it doesn’t mean people don’t get hurt. Believe it or not, the WWE always has medical specialists on standby just in case something happens (and probably for insurance purposes as well) and lucky for Lawler, there were health professionals present.

According to a report, Lawler was brought to a Montreal hospital where he had stents placed in three blocked arteries and is currently in critical but stable condition.

The WWE released the following statement Tuesday, “Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a heart attack while commentating during last night’s broadcast of Monday Night Raw in Montreal. We are hopeful Jerry makes a full recovery and returns to WWE in the near future. Our thoughts are with Jerry and his family.”

Jerry Lawler’s ex wife Stacy Carter (Miss Kitty or The Kat) tweeted, “Just got a @jerrylawler update. He had a stint & a balloon put in. Right now he is still heavily sedated. Will update when I know more.”

Our thoughts are also with WWE commentator Jerry Lawler. Here’s hoping that he comes out healthier and stronger than ever.
