Will Jon Voight be walking Angelina Jolie down the aisle this summer when she finally weds Brad Pitt?
Although the 73-year-old actor has had a strained relationship over the years with his daughter, Jon and Angelina are said to be on much better terms these days, and according to US Magazine, Angelina’s dad was delighted to hear of her engagement!
“It was very nice I thought. If they are happy — if they’re going to have a wedding — it’s wonderful,” he told the magazine at a recent event in Beverly Hills. “Of course, they’re the parents of six kids. They’ve been that way for a while.”
However, Jon won’t be leaking the details when it comes to revealing Brangelina’s wedding date and location.
“They haven’t given me any insight into that. I can’t really trust what people say,” he explained. “The newspapers and magazines seem to go their own way, and so I have to get it from Angie.”
There’s no doubt that Brad and Angelina’s six children will play a role in the ceremony when the time comes (perhaps there will be three adorable flower girls and three ring bearers), but will Angie be on Jon’s arm for her third trip down the aisle? Considering how unconventional her first two weddings were, we are really hoping that Angelina might opt for something more traditional this time.
