Jessica Biel is actually going to go through with this wedding after all. She and fiance, Justin Timberlake, celebrated their engagement party this weekend at the California home of Justin’s longtime friend and HomeMint collaborator Estee Stanley.
Us Weekly reports the party contained about 100 guests of friends and family including big names such as: Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Trace Ayala, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia DeRossi and Amy Adams. Anyone surprised Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears weren’t there? Ya, me neither. Looks like Jessica got her way on that one.
The guests mingled in cocktail attire, drinking champagne and wine, and munched on appetizers served by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Justin wore a black suit and a fedora while Jessica stunned in a leopard-print halter dress cinched at the waist with a hot pink belt and matching shoes.
All in all it was a low key, cool atmosphere for the entertainment power couple. “Jessica and Justin were mingling both separately and together throughout the party,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Jessica seems to be very close with Justin’s friends and vice versa. You can see that they have been dating for a long time and really know each others friends and family well. The party was a fun celebration and a preview of what’s to come with the wedding.”
So the wedding is still on despite the rumors that Justin has been stepping out on his leading lady. That’s fine. Maybe the rumors are just rumors and Jessica believes Justin can stay monogamous. What do you think? Is that thought a little too naive or should we just let the young couple enjoy the wedding festivities and worry about the cheating after the big day. I don’t want to rain on Jessica’s parade. She seems so freakin’ happy he finally put a ring on it after 5 years together. She’s already been dress shopping and has a smile plastered on her face each and every photo op. I want to think it will last – for her sake, at least. Right? Maybe? Let’s just hope she grows those bangs out before the wedding. I can’t believe she cut her hair! That’s such a bride no no!
