Kate Middleton has been insulted by People Magazine’s apparently random selection of the World’s Most Beautiful Women for 2012. The freaks who made up the list must have a hidden agenda since their selections make little sense. Can you imagine that Miranda Lambert beat out Duchess Kate on the silly list – Miranda Lambert!!! On good day Miranda looks like a burned out waitress at a cheap roadside diner in Appalachia. But it gets worse.
Kate was given 10th place behind such inferior specimens as Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams. Of course beauty is subjective, I guess, but do you think that a survey of typical fans would agree that Lily Collins is more beautiful than Kate? Lily looks like an alien with a giant fat head on a little body. Christina Hendricks also beat out our Kate, placing 6th. Now I like Christina and her good looks and acting talent are without question so I won’t complain. It is no shame to be placed after Christina on the list.
What disturbs me most is the choice of Beyonce Knowles as the winner – spare me – is this the Year of the Mother? Beyonce has now ridden Blue Ivy Carter to the top of People’s list. I mean Beyonce is decent looking but there are dozens of celebs that bury her in the beauty department. Beyonce is a ridiculous choice – her photo-shopped appearance on People’s cover aside, if she is the most beautiful woman in this world, then I must live in another world.
But best of all is Beyonce’s obnoxious statement to People: ‘I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth.’ We know that Beyonce believes that The Notorious B.I.C. is the second coming but so what? What a farce – how hard did Beyonce’s PR team have to work to get her mug on the cover of the special People issue?
Anyway – I have my own list of the world’s most beautiful women – and Beyonce is not on it, never mind at the top! Any list based upon beauty that places Miranda Lambert above Kate Middleton disqualifies itself for serious consideration. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section.
