Every little girl wants to be a princess when they grow up. Kate Middleton got her wish when she married Prince William. Though her official and gifted title is Duchess, the public still affectionately refers to her as Princess Kate. But the titles don’t stop there. “Princess Kate” is soon to be Queen Kate.
I can hear the overdramatic sound of Camilla Parker-Bowles old lady claws scratching a chalkboard. Every time Kate is referred to as the future queen another gray hair sprouts from Camilla’s scalp and she takes a shot of her alcohol of choice. Fun drinking game!
But what about Kate? How is she taking things? This is a lot to take on. A new marriage, her first pregnancy, and now a new title? That is a lot of pressure and stress for anyone, let alone the future queen. Lucky for her the title doesn’t come with any real power so that’s a little bit off her shoulders, but she is still a role model. She will have little girls all over the world pretending that they are Queen Catherine. Perhaps stress and anxiety are other reasons for her being sick and not being able to enjoy this time in her life.
Queen Elizabeth on the other hand seems to be in top form lately. Has no one else noticed how happy she’s been lately? She’s always out with a smile. Is someone excited that a respectable woman will be taking the throne? Is she ecstatic by the sound of Queen Catherine as opposed to Queen Camilla? Who wouldn’t be?
What do you think readers? Will Princess Kate make an amazing Queen Catherine? Will Camilla end up with a permanent room in rehab? Will Kate be able to cope with all of the sudden changes that are coming her way? Can Queen Elizabeth be any happier with the way things are going?
