It’s the case of the ex for the Kardashians – and in more ways than one. Khloe Kardashian is going to on The X Factor USA with sister Kim Kardashian’s EX-hubby, Damon Thomas. Might as well call it EX-Factor.
Kim and Damon were married from 2000-2004 and when they headed for splitsville, Damon didn’t exactly have the nicest things to say. RadarOnline reported, “In one interview Damon said Kim is a fame-loving, lying, plastic-surgery-loving cheat.” Ouch!!
Another article by InTouch, quotes Damon saying, “She can’t write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media. That’s a fame-whore to me. It’s just not cool at all.” Someone may not take separation well but that sounds just about right in terms of a description of Kim.
Damon is a music producer and is going to be mentoring the singers on the show but I think Khloe will be doing some mentoring of her own – and by mentoring, I mean TORMENT! A source familiar with situation said, “You know the tension is going to be unbelievable between Khloe and Damon.”
I don’t think casting for the show innocently paired these two opinionated ex-in-laws. Controversy equals ratings and that’s definitely what The X Factor will get especially when you add none other than Kanye West into the mix. Now that Kanye is hot and heavy with Kim (baby talk, birthdays in Italy), I’m sure he’ll have a something to say to Damon too. Of course when one dates Kim one has to expect to run into many people she’s bedded.
Kanye West is on The X Factor too, you ask? No, he’s not actually cast on the show but that doesn’t mean he won’t show up. Kanye is known for sharing his opinion at inopportune times. He has already interrupted one show back in 2010. Remember the whole Matt Lauer thing?
Putting Khloe on the same platform as Damon might be as volatile as having Kanye and Taylor Swift jointly present the award for best video of the year. Let’s not forget that incident – poor Taylor.
