Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte it totally willing to compete on a season of the Bachelor, so long as he gets a hefty paycheck of $750,000 or more. Are we being serious? In the douche baggy words of Ryan himself, “JEAH!” we’re totally serious. Ryan, ever since having his successful streak at the 2012 London Olympics, has mentioned on numerous occasions that he’s willing to participate in a reality show. But his team, already in talks with ABC, has made it quite clear that in order for them to proceed with any negotiations they must guarantee him his minimum price.
Radar Online reports, “Ryan’s agents are getting besieged with offers and deals, everything from The Bachelor, his own reality show, and some overseas movies. Ryan is acutely aware that he has to attach himself to the right projects and endorsements that won’t do damage to his all American image. As much as he’d like to do it, Ryan does have some reservations about The Bachelor because he wouldn’t have any control on how he is portrayed on the show.”
His own reality show? Oh, dear. How much you wanna bet they’d put it on MTV? He could have a home right next to JWOW and Snooki. Do you think this Olympic gold athlete is worth the 750K price tag, which would, more than likely, rise to nearly a million dollars by the time negotiations ended?
But wait . . . . I thought going on the Bachelor was all about finding one’s true love. *Insert Tears Here* If you think Ryan should be the next Bachelor, and you think ABC should cough up some gold of their own, leave a giant JEAH! in comments below.
