Harry Styles of the British boyband One Direction is encouraging Taylor Swift romantically. Hot Harry admitted that he has been texting today’s most popular country singer but claims that he and Taylor are ‘just friends.’ Taylor better hope that One Direction’s rabid fans don’t believe that there is any more to the relationship than platonic friendship.
During an interview with Australian newspaper The Herald Sun, Harry, 18, confirmed that the pair exchanged phone numbers after meeting at the Kids’ Choice Awards last month.
When asked “We hear you’ve been texting Taylor Swift?” during the interview, after a long pause Harry said: “We met in America, she’s very nice, yes,” Harry admitted. “She is very talented… She’s very nice… We’re friends.”
Taylor, 22, is just one of the many girls that Harry has been involved with in the past few months. Others include American singer Lily Halpern and photographer Sarah-Louise Colivet.
Apparently One Direction was on the prowl at that event as Niall Horan was trying to chat up Selena Gomez! Justin Bieber stepped up and warned the arrogant Niall to stay away from his lady. It seems that Justin caught Niall flirting up a storm with beautiful Selena and told him in no uncertain terms to back off. No way was our man Justin going to accept anyone, let alone a singing rival, make a move on his Selena.
In fact Justin was so angry after he caught Niall making a move on Selena that sources say he ‘was ready to explode.’ He took Niall aside and told him what was what and ‘warned Niall to stay away from Selena!’
