Fears are mounting over the safety of Britain’s favorite couple, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton. While the famous royal couple always has security at their side, they have, nonetheless, been undergoing intense anti-kidnap training. With the upcoming Jubilee and Olympics around the corner, no one is taking chances and both William and Kate have been given new SAS training to ensure that, should anything happen, they will be properly equipped.
Over the past few weeks the couple has made a series of visits to the SAS headquarters to learn exactly what they need to know should any terrorist snatch them up.
Sounds pretty intense if you ask me — but such is the life of a royal I suppose. William, 29, and Kate, 30, were also taught how to handle guns and according to an insider Kate got wee bit frightened. You think?
“She got a bit scared with the bangs going off so they took it a bit easy for her. William thought it was great, being a military man himself. The SAS didn’t want to terrify the life out of them but these guys are not the most delicate of creatures.”
Well at least they are getting the proper training should anything happen. And apparently Kate is already a pretty good shot and has been on game shoots at the royal estate before. William was taught to fire a gun at the age of 16, so no worries there. I don’t know if this makes me feel relieved or disturbed.
