Let’s talk about Ryan Gosling; he’s gorgeous for one, he’s a great actor, he’s Canadian, and he gave us The Notebook – I can go on and on, and now we can add real life hero to the ever-growing list.
On Wednesday, the Oscar nominee created a Twitter frenzy after British journalist Laurie Penny narrowly escaped the path of a speeding car which nearly hit her after she stepped onto the busy street (enter the lovely Mr. Gosling).
She tweeted on her twitter account: “I literally, Literally just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened. I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.”
She later explained that she was thinking about an article and “didn’t remember to look the right way”. Ryan happened to be passing by and stopped her from getting run over. Penny has been down playing the incident as she doesn’t like be labelled “ditzy damsel in distress”. Get over it girl! You were rescued by Ryan Gosling- milk that for all it’s worth! And you best be writing a dang good story about it!
