But the shockingly Robyn’s bad credit of could hold back the entire family.

This season the show will be broadcast from Las Vegas instead of Utah.  “I love Vegas — it’s my new home town! But I miss the four seasons”, said Janelle.  “Vegas has been good to us. I miss our friends and our religious community in Utah,” added her husband, Kody Brown.

Live Recap:

Tonight’s episode begins with Kody Brown flashing back to telling his kids they’d all be moving to Las Vegas and it was a family decision that most of them protested. The family settled into multiple homes and they believe that separating the kids has really cost them their closeness. The family is looking at individual lots in a cul de sac so that they can all live together. They have 30 days to get 4 homes together on paper. Christine talks about never living alone and trusting Janelle to do all of her bills. Christine’s credit is good but Robyn’s is completely in the toilet. Robyn needs to pay down debts and get her credit up to a 600 in under a month. She explains that her previous marriage left her taking full responsibility for a huge amount of the debt.

It looks like there’s a decent amount of resentment between  Janelle and Meri.  Janelle kind of insinuates that Meri is a bit lazier and only has one child so it doesn’t make sense that she needs all the resources that the other wives have. Janelle has just made peace with it and begrudgingly hands money over to Meri.

Did you know that the Sister Wives have a business called My Sister Wives Closet? Me neither but apparently they hawk clothing and jewelry through their online shop. They turned to this retail venture because Sister Wives Fitness Club was just way too expensive to launch. Um, ok fitness?  Only one of these wives is fit, but whatever.

Kody sits down with Janelle’s daughter Megan and she is truly not invested in Mormonism. She also tells them that she doesn’t think a polygamist lifestyle is for her. These clowns can’t seem to understand that their teen daughter doesn’t want to have to eventually share her husband.

Robyn and Kody meet with another debt specialist that seems like he can work a little magic. Robyn insists that she lived frugally as a single mom to three kids. She was working and had nothing extra to pay those debts.

Mariah is one of the kids that is very vocal and focused. She wants to return to Utah to attend medical school. She is also bound and determined to become a sister wife herself. She hates Vegas and desperately want to go home to Utah to be near her “people”. Mariah also wishes that her mother would allow Robyn to carry a child for her. She knows that Meri wants one and she just doesn’t understand why she won’t consent yet.

The whole crew visits Mona to find out who is approved for the home loans. Kody, Meri, Janelle and Christine were all approved. When it came time to find out Robyn’s fate, everyone was shocked to find that she was approved.  Kody and the wives take all of the kids to see models of the homes that they’ll be getting. The kids still aren’t trusting it. They say half of the things that they’re promised don’t come true so they need to see it to believe it. Tune in next week to see if their home reality continues to flourish.
