There isn’t anything as much fun to watch as a fake celebrity romance crash and burn, especially when one of the celebs involved keeps rattling on about family values and guilt about putting a child through it. That’s what makes Emily Maynard’s epic saga with the The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows so thrilling. Emily is constantly talking about her daughter, Ricki Hendrick: crying about leaving Ricki, worrying about confusing Ricki with random men such as Jef Holm and Brad Womack, scared to let someone in who could leave them and hurt Ricki. But through it all, she knows that finding love on TV is more important than her daughter, so she keeps coming back for more!
A source from the once-hit series, which has been dropping in ratings for a while now, told RadarOnline exclusively: “Emily’s ratings were huge and the producers know that she is incredibly popular so they are talking with her about coming back for another try. Even though she has been burned twice, they are hoping that she will be open to the idea because they know it will be ratings gold and they know that she really likes being on TV and actually has fun on the show.” Well of course she has fun! She gets to ditch her kid and go on exotic locations for free. What irresponsible parent wouldn’t want that?
Last season filming started on the east coast, near Emily’s home town. That, and their international start on the east coast of South America, was all done so they could be close to Ricki, who actually came along with her mom for a week in the beginning before being shipped off with a nanny. The source isn’t so naïve as to think viewers actually buy this crap anymore though. The source continued, “even if it is haters tuning in to see what she will do a third time, the producers think it could be an amazing twist that would really get people watching . . . the producers want to change things up and film in Los Angeles this time but they want to be respectful of Emily’s daughter Ricki so they’ll shoot around her school schedule and vacations.”
Does this mean they could start filming during spring break or next summer? It sounds like they studio has a plan all ready to go, and we know Emily won’t think twice before signing the dotted line, ensuring more TV air time! This news comes days after she released an official statement regarding her split from The Bachelorette winner Jef Holm. The couple found true love for a few months, before Emily started flirting with other guys and Jef’s polygamist history came out. But you know how these things go—fall in love fast, fall out fast! Emily is ready to move on to the next reality show and try again! Gotta love the dedication and enthusiasm! Would you tune in to watch Emily sell herself out again?
