Last night was the second episode of the 13th season of The Biggest Loser and we recapped the episode. In our wrap-up we have some observations of last night’s show and some questions.
On the start of tonight’s show Alison came and told the contestants she had interesting news. Two representatives from the black and blue team would go with Alison and they would bid on how much weight each team would lose in week 2. Kim and Kimmy represented the red team and Joe and Emily represented the black team. If the team lost the weight that they bid – the team would get a 5 lb advantage and if they lost the other team would get a 5 lb advantage. The red team bid first and I was surprised I expected them to start small but the representatives for the red team bid that they would lose 94 lbs. The black team did not even bid they passed. Were you shocked at Kim and Kimmie thinking the red team could lose 94 lbs?
Bob put a lot of pressure on the black team this week he did not want to lose another weight in. Bob ragged on Gail a lot because he did not feel she was working hard enough. When he got the black team to leave the gym because he felt it was to toxic Gail was the only one who sat down and Bob let her know he was not pleased. Do you think Bob was picking on Gail?
Tensions ran high at the last chance workout between Bob and Dolvett. Bob feels that Dovett has watched all previous The Biggest Loser shows and has stolen Bob’s workouts. At one point he says, “It’s like he watched every single season of mine and just does all my workouts.” Do you think think this is real or has the show decided they need some drama?
Dolvett spray-painted “94 LBS” on a big white board in the gym to remind his team what it was up against. Megan went into the gym and vandalized it and spray painted “GOOD LUCK” over it. Megan almost went home last week when she lost the lowest percentage of weight. You would think she would be concentrating on her workouts and not silly kindergarten things. She only lost 4 lbs this week. Did Ben make a mistake saving her last week? I think he did!
I would have thought Kim or Kimmy should have been sent home this week. They were the two who decided the red team had to lose 94 lbs. At the weigh in we find out if the red team did not get the 5lbs disadvantage they would have won the weigh-in. So it would have been fair if either Kim or Kimmy had been sent home. Do you think Kim or Kimmy should have gone home?
Mike was sent home and it was more about issues he had with Condra, the two did not like each other. However, Mike asking for a snack during the last chance workout probably did not help his cause. What do you think of Mike being eliminated.
Next week the contestants face a Chinese buffet temptation that will give the winner complete control of how contestants will be matched up for a face-off challenge in the gym – and also give them a two-pound advantage to use or give away. We will be live blogging the show with up-to-the-minute results so make sure and come back and visit us.
