Tonight on TLC Toddlers & Tiaras returns with a new episode. Did you watch last week’s episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.

On last week’s show Ava, 3, Katlyn, 3 and pageant newbie Hailey, 9 competed for the greatest gift of Ultimate Grand Supreme at the Universal Royalty Christmas pageant in Austin, Texas.  The Universal Royalty® Miss Texas Beauty Pageant is for babies, toddlers and teen pageants for all ages.  Every child receives an award. Quality and Professional pageant, Fantastic Prizes and Reasonable Fees.

On tonight’s show we meet 6-year-old Mackenzie who thinks she is a rock star and who says she is going to rock the pageant.  I gotta tell you this 6-year-old could give Honey Boo Boo a run for her money.  Mackenzie has been in the pageants since she was a baby.  She says she likes to shake it up on stage, rock it on stage and strut her stuff.  She ends by saying that everyone is jealous because she has pretty eyes, pretty hair and it is exhausting being beautiful.  This little girl is going to be a handful when she grows up.  Tonight we get to see Mackenzie at the Carolina Queens Pageant in Columbia, South Carolina.

Tonight’s episode is sure to be filled with the usual Toddlers & Tiara drama, which you won’t want to miss. So be sure to tune in for our live coverage of TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras – tonight at 9PM EST!  While you wait for the recap, check out the sneak peek of tonight’s episode below!

LIVE RECAP:
Tonight’s episode has our little pageant princess’ going to The Carolina Queens pageant, which will be based on beauty and Icon wear.

Mackenzie is a rock star who sings about people being jealous of her and her crayons.  Her personality is amazing.  “It’s exhausting being this beautiful.”

Faithlyn is positive she is going to win the Grand Supreme title.  Her coach Nicki is making sure she’s ready and has ensured Faithlyn had the skills to win all Grand Supreme titles she’s gone out for except for one.

Selena is ready for the glitz world.  Sabrina, her mom, is making sure she’s ready to kill it.  “Beyonce, she doesn’t have nothin’ on me.”    Sabrina realizes that her little girl is a little hefty (and extra adorable) but she’s confident her personality will get her the crown.

Faithlyn and Nicki are practicing.  Nicki is not holding back with her critiques.

Mackenzie is practicing with an umbrella (more of a parasol) and she is very sassy and her attitude is not helping matters.

Selena needs to prepare for her talent.  She does not want to cooperate so mom offers her some chocolate and promises a trip to the toy store.  Mom admits she doesn’t like Selena to go outside, because she gets overly tan.  Poor Selena is sad and admits she would really like to go outside with her brothers.

Mackenzie is showing her classmates how to “work it” for a pageant.  They are all following Mackenzie’s lead and she offers a prize of her pink and purple plastic microphone.  She even helped to build the girls self-esteem.  Good girl!

Faithlyn has her personal stylist working on her hair.   It looks great, but her coach Nicki is another kind of evil.  She makes a game out of making fun of pageant moms being overweight.  There is definitely a special place being saved for Nicki.

Time to get ready for the pageant.

Selena does not want to get ready.  Her fair was finally complete, but she does not want any makeup on.  Mom is offering her whatever she can find.

Nicki is the devil.  She is instructing the makeup artist how to do Faithlyn’s makeup even though the artist is the professional and does not agree.  Nicki’s argument is that she is paying her to do the makeup the way she wants it done, not the way the makeup artist wants it.  The makeup artist gives in.

Selena is first to the stage for the beauty portion.  Her daddy has calmed her down and she is absolutely adorable.

Time for Mackenzie’s beauty portion.  The dress is adorable, but not much excitement.  Mom thinks this was her best pageant yet.

Nicki is not playing with Faithlyn.  She has built her up and assured her this pageant was “in the bag.”  Unfortunately for the both of them, Faithlyn’s fake teeth won’t stay in.

Faithlyn goes on with the teeth.  She’s smiling, but at times she looks like she wants to cry.  The judges seem to like her.

Next up is Icon wear.

Selena is up and she is shaking it to Beyonce.  Brother has to help her rip her skirt off because it gets stuck, but her personality was what got her the votes.

Mackenzie is ready for her routine.  She’s got her umbrella routine down.

Faithlyn is going to be “I Dream of Jeannie.”  Nicki is bragging how original Faithlyn’s costumes always are and she sees another girl wearing and “I Dream of Jeannie” costume.  Nice.  Nicki is stressed, but Faithlyn says she just has to work it.

Crowning is about to begin.  The judges think Selena should have worn brighter colors.  They don’t believe Mackenzie’s poise was all there.  Faithlyn has them “nitpicking” to see who was the better Jeannie.

Selena’s age group is first.  She gets 2nd runner up.

Mackenzie’s age group is up next.  She wins Queen, but her and her mom are upset that it wasn’t a Supreme title.

Faithlyn’s age group is being announced.  She wins the Beauty Supreme title.  Nicki thinks it is the most pointless award.  She doesn’t win Grand Supreme.  Of course all Nicki and Faithlyn could do was make rude comments about the other winners.  She declares that she will not be vying for a Miss America title.

The girls are tired and the parents are ready to go home.
