Tonight on HBO is an all new episode of True Blood. On tonight’s show Eric and Bill have doubts they will survive the search for Russell. Remember our heroes decided not to kill Russell Edgington and instead buried him in concrete. Now they have to find him, in hopes they will please Roman and the rest of the Vampire Authority. If you missed last week’s show called “Whatever I am, You Made Me” we have a full and detailed recap here for you.
Spoiler alert: If you’re one of those people who doesn’t like spoilers, stop reading now! We have some juicy spoilers for you about the season 5 episode 4 of HBO’s “True Blood”.
True Blood is really heating up and getting fangtastic, are you love it as much as me? On last week’s episode the Pelts came to town looking for their homicidal V addicted daughter Debbie. They were not having a lot of success finding her. Sookie finally came clean to Alcide and admitted she was the one who did the deed and murdered Debbie. The boys, Eric and Bil,l negotiated a deal with Roman and the rest of the Vampire Authority to find Russel,l who has somehow been unearthed from the concrete they buried him in. Tara continued to be totally pissed off at Sookie and Lafayette and Sam came to her aid. I am hoping we get to see more of Russell tonight, he is one of my favorite characters!
Official HBO synopsis of tonight’s episode: “Eric and Bill have doubts they wl,l survive the search for Russell. Sookie opens up to Alcide. An irate Lafayette unwittingly puts Sookie’s life in danger. At Authority headquarters, Roman and Salome continue interrogating Nora about the Sanguinistas – and a possible traitor within the Council. Pam forces Tara to toe the line; Andy and Jason go to a burlesque party; Sam’s shifter friends invite him for a run; Terry flashes back to a deadly night in Iraq; Hoyt tests the fangbanger waters; Sookie drowns her sorrows.”
Sookie is totally fed up lying and wants to come clean to everyone because she feels she is destroying people’s lives. Her guilt is just killing her, she came clean with Alcide about killing Debbie last week. This week Alcide goes to the Pelts to tell them what happened to Debbie. However, I don’t think he will be telling them the truth. Although he was not happy when Sookie told him she killed Debbie, I think Alcide will continue to protect Sookie and fabricate a story. Sookie also comes clean with Jason this week and lets him know she killed Debbie. She wants to turn herself in. Will Jason let her?
We have been learning this season that Arlene’s beau Terry’s past may be more complicated than we originally thought, especially with Patrick’s introduction. On tonight’s show we are going to get a lot of flashbacks into Terry’s past when he was in the war. We should get some more insight into what is going on between Patrick and Terry. Remember last week Terry left town and Arlene told him she would not be there when he got back. I wonder if the powers that be intend to split Arlene and Terry up? And where is Arlene’s freaky possessed kid this season?
It also looks like from the preview that Eric attacks Pam. Eric is released from the Vampire Authority Headquarters and heads back to Fangtasia and Pam tries to convince him to “Let bygones be bygones.” Eric feels Tara’s presence in the room and asks Pam about it and she tells him she turned her and congratulates him on being a grandfather. From the scene it looks like Eric is less than pleased with the news.

Tonight’s True Blood recap: Tonight’s show opens with where we left off last week with Tara in the tanning bed. She is trying to kill herself. Pam comes to save her and Tara tells that she cannot live as a vampire. Pam slaps her and tells her she better not do it again. Tara closes the tanning bed starts burning again.
Pam commands her to not try to kill herself again. Of course Tara has to listen to what Pam says because she made her!
Sookie tells Lafayette that she told Alcide what they did. Lafayette if not please, he tells her it was the only thing he asked her to do. To keep her mouth shut. He tells her she always survives, but she leaves a trail of bodies in her wake.
The vampire authority let Bill and Eric go. Bill and Eric are wondering who let Russell out since only a few knew where Russell was.
Roman and Salome are in bed listening to Nora screaming, Roman is sure Nora knows more than she is saying. Roman wonders how long the cancer within them can exist before it destroys them. Salome wants to torture her more, but Roman wants Salome to question her.
Sookie comes to see Jason. She tells him she has come to turn herself in because she killed Debbie Pelt. Jason tells her to shut her mouth, she does not want to hear one more word. Jason tells her to get out he doesn’t want to hear anything more.
Jason does not want to put her in jail. Sookie tells him Alcide is going to tell the Pelt family. Jason asks if anyone else was there. Sookie tells Jason that Tara was there and she tuened into a vampire. Sookie tells Jason she destroys people’s lives.
Pam gets back to Fangtasia with Tara and Eric is there. Eric asks why Tara is there and Pam tells Eric she made her and congratulates him on being a vampire. Bill takes Tara out of the room and leaves Pam with Eric.
Bill talks to Tara and tells her the impulse will pass to kill herself. Bill gives a bottle of True Blood. Bill asks if Sookie knows and Tara responds yes. Bill wants to know if Sookie is safe. Tara responds that Sookie is always safe, because there is always someone to take a bullet for.
Meanwhile Eric is attacking Pam, he wants to know where Russell is. Pam asks what is wrong with him. She cannot believe that after a century together he would suspect her of digging up Russell. Pam tells her she would die 1000 times before she would betray him. Eric tells her she is a fool because he trusts no one and she shouldn’t either.
Pam asks him to release her if he does not trust her.
Eric comes to where Jill and Tara are and Tara leaves. Eric tells Bill it was not Pam who betrayed them. Bill asks Eric if it could’ve been his sister Nora who betrayed them. Eric tells him absolutely not.
Phil tells Eric they have to go to ground and tomorrow and they have to cast their net wider and find out who betrayed him.
Meanwhile, the vampire authority are watching what Bill and Eric are doing and are not convinced that Russell is actually alive. The authority council members are watching Nora.
Sheriff Andy is on the phone and in walks the man whom Andy fixed his son’s ticket for. He is grateful that Andy helped him and invites Andy and Jason to go party with him to a new place he has found.
At Merlottes two shifters come in and Sam asks him what the hell they are doing there? They want Sam to run with them, but Sam tells them it is not the time. They try to convince Sam and finally he says yes.
Sookie reads Holly’s mind and hears her saying how she cannot believe how she let Tara be turned into a vampire. Sookie hears everyone in the bar putting her down and gets really upset.
Lafayette is remembering the mean things he said to Sookie, he gets out of the car and then turns into the beast and goes up to Sookie’s car.
Alcide goes to visit Debbie Pelt’s parents. He tells him he was honest with them when he spoke to them the other day. He tells them Debbie is gone, she was killed. They want to know if Alcide killed her and he tells no. Her parents want to know if Alcide knows who killed Debbie and Alcide tells them yes.
He tells them that after he abjured Debbie the pack leader Marcus tried to take her and he said he NO and he killed her. Alcide tells her parents that he killed Marcus and broke his neck. Alcide broke down into tears and Debbie’s father goes after him.
Debbie’s mother pull him off Alcide and tells Alcide to get out.
Sookie is in the car speeding and it is the car Lafayette as a beast was scratching – hmm… did Alcide as demon tamper with Sookie’s car. The brakes don’t work and Sookie crashes and is thrown from the car.
Terry is driving with Patrick in the truck and Terry starts having a flashback of when he was in the war. They are all drinking and popping pills and it is the 4th of July.
As they are watching the fireworks (in the flashback) a civilian comes up and starts talking to one of his platoon and the man tells him to F off and shoots him. The rest of them come downstairs and people run into the street yelling what have they done. Someone screams hostiles and they start shooting and they shoot all the civilians in the street.
Jason goes into work and Andy tells Jason that The Pelts have left their hotel and gone home. Jason is happy and says he is glad they are gone and it is over. But Andy tells Jason it is not over, he is going to search every house in town to find something. Jason is worried about Sookie. Jessica comes in and glamors Andy and tells him he is going to forgot all about Debbie Pelt and her parents. Jason tells her he is a good friend.
Pam opens the coffin where Tara is and looks at her. Eric comes downstairs to talk to her. Eric tells Pam that searching for Russell is a suicide mission. Either Russell will have his head or the Vampire Authority will. Pam offers to help Eric, but he tells her he does not want her to sacrifice herself. Eric tells her she was right he has to release her, not because he does not trust her but because he needs her to live when he is gone.
Pam tells him if that is his wish she understands. She tells Eric to do it! He says “Pamela I release you.’ Pam cries and they hug. Eric tells her she is his child as he was a child of Godfrey. He reminds Pam she is a maker now and their blood will thrive. He asks her if she understands and he kissed her. Pam is devastated.
The judge comes to pick up Andy and Jason in a limo. In the limo are several girls and they put hoods over the men’s heads so they cannot see where they are doing.
Bill is searching his house and Jessica wants to know what he is looking for, Bill tells her a bug, he thinks he is being listened to.
Eric finds a bug and tells Jessica it is low quality shit. Jessica asks Bill if he is going to go and see Sookie because she has had a rough couple of days. Jessica tells Bill that she has seen Sookie and she is falling apart.
Bill tells Jessica to take care of herself and then he compliments her and tells her he thinks he did well when he created her.
Salome comes to see Nora and tells her the righteous do suffer. Roman asks Nora if she accepts the true death that will come with her treason. Nora tells them so be it!
Salome tells Nora she does not want to see her killed, she wants to know who is leading her. Nora tells them to F off. Roman asks her if she does not care about herself does she care about Bill and Eric. Nora tells Roman she does not care about them. Roman threatens to stake Eric and Bill and Nora finally tells him to stop and asks how she can be sure that they won’t kill Bill and Eric if she tells.
Salome bites her wrist and swears to Nora that she will not let them kill Bill and Eric, Nora starts sobbing.
The Judge, Andy and Jason are walking with the hoods on they are in a field and one of the girls lets a light come out of her hand and a portal opens and they are in a weird brothel. Andy wants to know why he does not know about the place and The Judge tells him invitation only.
A girl walks up to Andy and she reminds him she is Morella (it is the fairy he met last season) He asks if it is a dream, she kisses him and Andy says if it is a dream he does not care.
Sookie is drunk and singing to herself, the phone rings and it is Lafayette who calls and asks her if she is okay. Lafayette has found her car and is worried. Sookie tells Lafayette that she lost control and she got out just in time.
Someone knocks on the door and it is Alcide. Alcide tells Sookie that he told The Pelts about Debbie – he tells her he told them Debbie was dead but that is it. The rest he told was a lie. He did it to protect Sookie. Sookie apologies for putting him in the middle, she tells him how grateful she is.
She asks Alcide if he wants something to drink. Alcide tells her he is going to need more than one.
Terry and Patrick come up to a house and it seems deserted. Terry bangs on the floor and discovers a fake floor. They open the trap door and go down. In the cellar under the floor they see paintings on the wall. Patrick says he knew that the man they were looking for was there. They hear a gun click and their fellow soldier is there with a gun on them.
Sam comes up to the shifters who were waiting for him and he sees they are dead.
Pam opens Tara’s coffin and tells her it is time to eat. Tara tells Pam three days ago she used to be human. Pam has brought a girl for Tara to eat. Tara refuses and Pam commands her. Pam teaches Tara how to bite someone without killing them.
Roman has a stake and he is talking to the Vampire authority council. Roman, the guardian tells the members of the council he is having their quarters searched. He feels if one person can sway and betray them, why not two!
The guards for the vampire authority come in with a computer and show it to Roman. Roman says it is true there is another traitor. Roman goes up to Chancellor Drew (a child) and asks why he has a video on his computer where he is eating a human.
The child explains that he just once ate a human, but Roman does not believe it and tells him they found an e-mail where he sent it to the Sanguinista. The child tries to explain that he was infiltrating the enemy Sanguinista but Roman is not buying – he stakes him and kills him with extreme violence and suddenness and there is blood everywhere. Roman tells the other council members there will not be anymore betrayals as the blood of Drew drips from his fingertips and their faces…
Sookie is drunk and Alcide is drinking with her. Sookie is jumping on Alcide and tells him to finish his drink and he says not. Sookie says you will because you love me. She starts kissing him and yikes, Sookie and Alcide are making out.
Meanwhile Bill has just walked up to her house and is looking in the window and sees Alcide and Sookie. Eric walks up too. Bill tells Eric that he came because Jessica told him that she needed him. Eric tells Bill that Sookie looks fine. Bill tells Eric that they can use Sookie and Eric tells Bill Sookie does not want anything to do with them. Bill tells Eric they will not give Sookie a chance.
Jason is kissing a girl at the Fairy Brothel – yes it turns out that the brothel is a portal to fairyland and a sanctuary for fairies hiding from vampires – and Jason sees his cousin Hadley. Jason asks Hadley if Sookie knows she is there. Hadley is surprised that Sookie is alive. Hadley tells Jason she is hear because Vampires want to eat all the Fairies so she brought her son here to protect him.
Jason tells her Sookie tried it with Fairies and it did not work. Jason tells Hadley that Sookie is safer with Vampires. Hadley tells him NO, Vampires want to drink fairies’ blood and they will kill her just like they killed Jason’s parents.
At that moment one of the other fairies comes over and interrupts and tells Hadley she said too much, they take her away.
Jason tries to get to her but they won’t let him. Andy tries to help Jason and they are both kicked out of the fairy brothel.
Once they are out of the fairy brothel portal two male fairies come out and they shoot a beam of light at them and they disappear and so does the brothel! The fellows are sitting in a meadow – all by themselves!!!
